Throop Borough, Throop, Pa., is searching for a general consultant for its Police Pension Plan and Non-Uniform Plan, confirmed Robin Galli, chief clerk/treasurer.
An RFP is being issued because the current consultant of the defined benefit plans, with combined assets of $2 million, is Merrill Lynch, which informed the borough it would no longer be providing these services.
Proposals are due at 1 p.m. EDT on Oct. 19. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Nov. 15, with a final decision date yet to be determined.
The RFP is available at www.throopboro.com/10072012/ThroopBoro_RFP.pdf.
