Montana ready to rope in R.V. Kuhns to remain as consultant

Montana Board of Investments, Helena, is expected to rehire R.V. Kuhns as investment consultant by the end of the month, said David Ewer, executive director.

R.V. Kuhns and NEPC made presentations to the board on Thursday and the incumbent received a higher score from board members, Mr. Ewer said in an e-mail.

An RFP was issued in June; R.V. Kuhns' current contract expires Nov. 30.

The board oversees a total of $7.8 billion from nine pension funds.
