Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for a third-party administrator for its $2.3 billion 457 plan, confirmed spokeswoman Pamela Hile.
The contract of current administrator Great-West Retirement Services expires on June 30, 2013. Great-West is invited to rebid. The selected firm would begin a four-year contract July 1, with an option for one one-year renewal.
The RFP is available from the state's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST Nov. 7. The retirement system's goal, subject to change based on the responses received, is to make a decision at the Dec. 5 board meeting, according to Ms. Hile.
