Fort Worth (Texas) Employees' Retirement Fund is conducting a shortlist search for an active international small-cap equity manager to run $40 million, said Ruth Ryerson, executive director and chief investment officer of the $1.8 billion pension fund.
Investment consultant R.V. Kuhns will conduct the shortlist search. Interested managers can contact R.V. Kuhns, Ms. Ryerson said.
Funding will come from the pension fund's passive portfolios.
“It will be a couple of months before the board makes a final selection,” Ms. Ryerson said in an e-mail.
