Raman Srivastava will join Standish Mellon Asset Management as co-deputy chief investment officer and managing director of global fixed income, effective Oct. 15, confirmed spokeswoman Patrice Kozlowski. In the new position, Mr. Srivastava will join fellow co-deputy CIO David Horsfall and CIO David Leduc in overseeing all of Standish Mellon's global and non-U.S. fixed income strategies.
In an interview, Ms. Kozlowski said Mr. Leduc pointed to the need for additional depth and breadth in overseeing Standish Mellon's growing global business as the reason for bringing in Mr. Srivastava.
Mr. Srivastava previously was a portfolio manager on Putnam Investments' core-plus, global fixed-income and absolute-return teams. His responsibilities have been assumed by other members of Putnam's 75-person fixed-income team, said Putnam spokesman Jon Goldstein.
