Erica Evans will join Hartford Investment Management on Oct. 1 as an executive vice president and head of sales and marketing, confirmed Michelle Symington, a spokeswoman for HIMCO.
Ms. Symington couldn't immediately say whether Ms. Evans was replacing someone in that role.
On Aug. 21, Pensions & Investments reported that John Brown had left his post at HIMCO as managing director of sales, marketing and product development to join INTECH Investment Management as senior vice president, head of global client development. At the time, Julia Zweig, a spokeswoman for HIMCO, said Mr. Brown's responsibilities had been assumed by other executives at the firm.
Ms. Evans was senior vice president and head of institutional business at ING Investment Management. ING is looking to fill the position, a spokeswoman said.
