Harvest Partners closes 6th private equity fund

Harvest Partners closed the $1.1 billion Harvest Partners VI, a private equity fund that will invest in North American middle-market management buyouts and recapitalizations.
Investors in the fund include the $12.1 billion Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, and $13.7 billion Kentucky Retirement Systems, Frankfort.
Thomas W. Arenz, senior managing director, could not be reached for further information. Caroline Luz, spokeswoman, said in an e-mail the firm would not answer further questions.
