Ohio School Employees' assignment: Find fiduciary auditor
By Rob Kozlowski | September 17, 2012 3:11 pm
Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for a firm to conduct a fiduciary audit of the pension fund's investment controls and processes, confirmed spokesman Tim Barbour.
The $10.3 billion pension fund does this search periodically to conduct a fiduciary audit of its investment management operations. The last such audit was in 2005, and Mr. Barbour said one reason for the audit is the arrival in July of the pension fund's new director of investments, Farouki Majeed.
The RFP is available at www.ohsers.org/Document/Get/10151.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 5. Vendor presentations are tentatively scheduled for sometime in November, with a selection to be made in December.
