Woburn (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a small-cap growth equity manager to run $5 million, according to an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, consultant to the $105 million pension fund.
Proposals can be for active or passive strategies indexed to the Russell 2000 Growth index or comparable U.S. small-cap growth equity index, according to the RFP.
Proposals are due at 10:30 a.m. EDT on Oct. 19; information on a timetable for a decision was not available by press time.
The RFP is available at http://diablo.evero.net/nickweb/wic/register.asp.
The retirement system referred questions to Gus Aristizabal, director of research at Wainwright, who did not return a phone call by press time.
