Alabama Trust Fund rolls out RFP for global custodian

Alabama Trust Fund Board, Montgomery, is searching for a global custodian, according to an RFP posted on the Alabama state treasurer's website.
The selected firm would provide global custodial and securities lending services for the $2.3 billion Alabama Trust Fund and the $417 million County Municipal Government Capital Improvement Trust Fund.
The RFP is available on the website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 9. Information on a timetable for a decision was not available by press time.
Young Boozer, secretary to the board and Alabama state treasurer, and Daria Story, assistant state treasurer, were not available to provide further information by press time.
