Stroud Area Regional Police Pension Plan, East Stroudsburg, Pa., is searching for a firm to provide investment management, custodial and administrative services, confirmed James Phillips, chief administrative officer of the $11.6 million plan, in an e-mail.
BNY Mellon Asset Management has been the plan's provider since the regional police department was formed in 2000 and members of the pension board felt they needed to look at other providers for the first time, wrote Mr. Phillips. BNY Mellon is invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 1 p.m. EDT on Sept. 7. A decision is expected in early October.
The RFP is available at the police department's website.
