Pennsylvania Public School pension fund commits $370 million

Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, committed $220 million to PIMCO Multi-Asset Volatility Offshore Fund, managed by Pacific Investment Management Co., according to Evelyn Tatkovski, spokeswoman for the $47.9 billion pension fund.
Hedge fund consultant Aksia assisted.
Separately, the system committed up to $150 million to Versa Capital Fund III, a private debt fund managed by Versa Capital Management. The system previously had committed $75 million to Fund I and $150 million to Fund II.
Private equity consultant Portfolio Advisors assisted.
