The $25 billion Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System (SERS) seeks to hire a Director of Alternative Investments. The successful candidate will have broad experience in managing institutional private equity and venture capital portfolios, conducting research and due diligence, recommending new investment opportunities and strategies, developing board presentations, and negotiating investment contracts. This job requires strong oral and written communication skills and quantitative and qualitative analyses experience. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field and four years of investment management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. A CFA or other professional designation is desirable. Salary range is $102,710 to $164,206. Comprehensive benefits package is provided. Position is based in Harrisburg, PA.
